What is Rooting?
Most of you guys are young Clash of Clans players who mostly will be new to the world of rooting. To understand rooting a device in one line: rooting any andriod device provides you with enhanced and elevated access to perform advanced tasks. Rooting a device enables you to gain access to and modify the files which may be normally not accessable or modifiable. This applies to both files in the /data and /system parts of your android device. Root access also allows you to run applications and software from third party provider which you may not normally install on unrooted andriod devices. You may root any android device in order to: access un-accessible device features or use existing features with enhanced capabilities.
Why you Need to Root your Device?
Root access gives you capabilites to modify the device by way of modifying the operating sytem. Generally root access is mostly used to install custom recoveries, flash custom ROMs, kernel modifications and many device modifications. Root access also provides you capabilities to install applications like the Xpised Framework and of course in our case the Xmodgames framework and many other such applications.
Due to the things you can do with root access, rooting a device is often very dangerous. Luckily, now you can use root brokering applications like Super Su that restricts the root access to applicatins you choose to provide the root access to. Further now it is possible for you to use other root-enabled tools to restore your operating system to an earlier working restore point lest something goes wrong. Before you begin rooting your andriod device, you may consider using one of the root-enabled applicatins backup tools to take a complete backup of your andriod device on to your PC or on other external storage devices before proceeding to root your andriod device. By doing so, you actually take a full snapshot of your andriod smartphone or tablet and can restore it at any time.
